Best Internship and Spring Week Trackers UK (2027)

The best UK internship and spring week trackers for 2027 compared: LucidTrack, Trackr, simplytk, Bright Network, TARGETjobs and spreadsheets.

LucidTrack Team·29 October 2026·3 min read

The best internship tracker in the UK for 2027 is one that both shows you what's open and tracks what you've applied to, and LucidTrack is the one that does both across every major sector. Most trackers are lists of openings: Trackr, simplytk, Intervyo and L3VLUP tell you when a role goes live, mostly in finance. Bright Network and TARGETjobs are careers sites with jobs boards. A spreadsheet tracks your applications but finds nothing. LucidTrack has a job board across eight sectors and a tracker for every round of every application, and both are free.

We make LucidTrack. Every other product's details come from its own website, checked on 29 October 2026.

1. LucidTrack: the best all-round internship tracker

LucidTrack's job board lists spring weeks, internships, placements and grad schemes across finance, technology, consulting, law, engineering, operations and design, with a tracker for every sector and programme, such as finance spring weeks, law vacation schemes and technology internships. Every role you apply to goes into your application tracker, which keeps each round (online tests, video interviews, assessment centres) with its own status and deadline, and counts how your season is going.

  • Free: the job board and application tracker, with no limit on applications.
  • Pro: email alerts within minutes of a role opening, calendar sync, AI CV and writing tools, matched postings and the grades tracker.

2. Trackr

Trackr, formerly the Bristol Tracker, lists openings for UK finance, technology, law and engineering, plus finance and technology outside the UK, and says it covers more than 1,600 companies. Browsing is free; Premium, from £30 per UK tracker, adds alerts and group chats. Its own comparison mentions stage tracking, but we couldn't find details. See LucidTrack vs Trackr.

3. simplytk

simplytk lists internships and spring weeks in technology, investment banking, quant and trading, engineering and asset management, with free email and push alerts and a starred-roles tracker with statuses.

4. Intervyo

Intervyo lists UK spring weeks, internships, off-cycle roles, grad schemes, degree apprenticeships and training contracts across finance, consulting and law, with free alerts on up to ten firms.

5. L3VLUP

L3VLUP's spring week tracker covers UK and European spring weeks, mostly in investment banking, with a free weekly email digest and a paid Pro plan.

6. Bright Network and TARGETjobs

Both are free careers sites with jobs boards, alerts and advice, built for discovering employers rather than tracking the rounds of your applications. See LucidTrack vs Bright Network.

7. Spreadsheets and Notion templates

Free and flexible, but every row is typed by hand, there are no alerts or reminders, and a single status column can't show the rounds of a real application. See spreadsheet vs Notion vs LucidTrack.

What makes a good internship tracker

  1. It shows every live role in your sector, with deadlines in plain words, not a list you have to check firm by firm.
  2. It tells you the moment a role opens. Many firms review applications as they arrive, so hearing first matters.
  3. It tracks what you apply to, round by round, so no online test or interview deadline gets lost.
  4. It shows how your season is going, so you know where to focus.

LucidTrack is built to do all four, in one place, for free.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best spring week tracker?

LucidTrack lists spring weeks for each sector, such as finance spring weeks, with every live role's deadline and the date each one opened, and tracks every spring week you apply to through its rounds. The board and tracker are free.

Are internship trackers free?

Most let you browse openings for free. LucidTrack's job board and application tracker are both free with no limit on applications; Pro adds alerts within minutes, calendar sync and AI tools.

What's the difference between a list of openings and an application tracker?

A list of openings tells you which roles are live. An application tracker follows the applications you make: each round, deadline and outcome. LucidTrack does both.
