You will make a real difference by contributing to team objectives and helping to create and enhance new and existing systems. This is a 12-month industrial placement and applicants must be studying a relevant University Degree course that includes a dedicated placement year July 2027 to July 2028.

What you'll take on

  • Shadow our experienced Developers to learn about and participate in full life-cycle development.
  • Help create and enhance applications using a wide variety of backend and front-end technologies, including C#, .NET, VUE.JS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Write readable and maintainable code that fulfils user requirements to agreed quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely within your team to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve bugs in the codebase.
  • Implement, test, and deploy code changes following the company's development process.
  • Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to discuss challenges and share your progress.
  • Adapt to and utilise new AI technologies, such as CoPilot, Gemini, and Notebook LM, to streamline your ways of working and increase efficiencies.

What you'll bring

  • Current study towards a STEM degree (on track for a 2:1 or higher) or a STEM Master's degree that includes a 12-month placement, ideally with relevant studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
  • We are looking for someone with a strong interest in how software works and a self-motivated desire to learn.
  • You will bring a basic understanding of core languages like C#, VB.NET, VUE.JS, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, alongside the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
  • Beyond your technical potential, you will need to be a great communicator who listens well, thinks in a structured manner, and collaborates effortlessly with others.

BE BRAVE. BE YOU. BE NEXT.
