Location: Broad Oak (Hampshire) / Cowes (Isle of White). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description
You will be reviewing products, manufacturing records, technical specifications, and drawings to confirm product quality compliance, and investigate any quality issues that arise. You will be expected to monitor and analyse manufacturing rejects, rework, and other quality data – and present information to management. Supporting the resolution of quality issues through application of problem solving and root cause analysis techniques (Ishikawa, 5 Why, 8D etc), is a key aspect of the role. This role develops your understanding of relevant Quality Systems and Projects to support delivery of products. You will undertake routine Quality Assurance activities, including but not limited to auditing, supporting Design Certification, and creation of Quality Plans and work across different areas of the business, build relationships, and energise and empower others to identify and implement improvements in their own areas.
Core duties
- Ensure operational compliance to specifications + quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Drive and support targeted Continuous Improvement activities, such as initiatives to reduce rejects or improve operational workflows, throughput, or efficiency.
- Support resolution of quality issues, the internal audit process, and external audits
- Excellent numeracy and mechanical comprehension desirable, with an interest in data analysis and problem solving.
