Job Title: Graduate Submarines Human Resources

Location: Barrow (Cumbria). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description

Within the Human Resources function, you will support the business to ensure people-related processes and systems operate effectively and efficiently. You will contribute to the delivery of HR services either as part of a specialist team or in a business partnering capacity, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation. The role involves supporting the delivery of business requirements and priorities through the HR team while gaining exposure to a variety of activities. You will help drive people-focused initiatives that support business success.

Core duties

  • Provides administrative and organisational support, including collecting, managing and distributing information, preparing reports and presentations, and coordinating activities to support team objectives.
  • Supports People-related activities by providing advice and guidance on routine employee matters, applying People processes, procedures and company policies.
  • Builds effective working relationships with colleagues, Advisors, Leads/Partners and stakeholders, using influencing and coaching skills to support business priorities.
  • Operates effectively within a manufacturing, unionised and project-based environment, contributing to the delivery of People and business objectives.
  • Demonstrates developing knowledge of People practices, policies and the wider business, while supporting colleagues and continuously building professional capability.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: All subjects considered.
