Location: Scotstoun (Glasgow) We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.

Salary: £25,900

Role description 

• Working with the engineering teams to deliver the modelling & analysis activities required by each project.
• Assisting in the delivery of the verification activities for survivability.
• Maintaining Signatures/Survivability predictions in line with the project design requirements; assisting with the mitigation of non-compliances and risks; working across project disciplines to achieve resolution.
• Supporting the system design development by the other engineering domains and detail design teams, ensuring compliance with survivability requirements and design rules.
• Assessing supplier evidence against survivability requirements and presenting status to wider business and customer community.
• Performing and reviewing equipment noise and vibration measurements.

The Naval Ships Team  

We design and build offshore patrol vessels, giant aircraft carrier and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, giving the customer capability to fulfil operations around the world.

Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
 

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Science or Engineering subject.

Length of contract: 12 weeks
